Exciting things are happening at Haneberg Farm in the municipality of Eskilstuna, Sweden!
Here on the site of our demonstration project, civil works are underway and foundations are taking shape – this is where Azelio's TES.POD long-duration energy storage solution will be installed. In combination with solar PV, our technology will supply around the clock clean electricity, as well as heat for the drying of crops.
In addition to highlighting the need for long-duration energy storage in Sweden, the project will also showcase how agricultural applications around the globe can benefit from clean energy resilience. The project was initiated in 2021 and the demonstration phase will be carried through this Summer.

Thanks for your question! Our system is agnostic to technologies, energy sources and geographies. It's scalable, and can meet the needs of, for example, smaller factories, water treatment plants, and mining projects - or it can make a remote community energy resilient. We target markets with a lot of sun, high electricity costs, and where customers have challenges with the grid. This points us towards the US, Africa, the Middle East and Australia.
