Dr James Hansen for making climate change public,
During his period at NASA he made it public to everyone what climate change was, for the USA science committee amongst others.
How it would effect us and what can be done.
That was about 40 years ago.
He is still constantly doing the science at Colombia university with his team
He leads the CSAS institute at Colombia university.
Advocates for the climate, awareness and the solutions.

Personally I find his fight for solutions very worthy, especially his efforts to promote nuclear as it is also very misunderstood, like climate change is too.
Him (with the head) and his family I think.

Now that it is at hand we are wrestling priorities, sometimes high and low pressure sells move relatively, result in seasonal rains or partial draughts and keep moving in cycles to restore or destort order. Flooding was rare it is becoming common and makes me pray "God grant me the scenerity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference".
