Solomon Islands National University And UAE Explore Clean Energy Collaboration

In a bid to propel sustainable development efforts, the Solomon Islands National University (SINU) took a significant stride towards fostering collaborative ventures with the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Recently, SINU’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Transform Aqorau, and the university’s executive management convened with His Excellency Omar Shehadeh, the Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, at the SINU Kukum Campus.
at the core of the meeting was the exploration of potential collaborations between SINU and the UAE, with a pronounced emphasis on sustainable development and clean energy initiatives. Professor Aqorau presented a visionary proposal for the establishment of a Center for Clean Energy at SINU, heralding a new era of sustainable energy advancement in the Solomon Islands.
