Libya aims to achieve a whopping 4 gigawatts of renewable energy by 2035.

The National Plan for Energy and Renewable Energy to regenerate energy and renewable energy by the National Coalition of Libya, integrated as solar wind power for n, investment in renewable energy , is focused by increasing energy efficiency. It includes plans to deploy 1.7 GW of solar PV capacity between 2023 and 2025, with a target of reaching 3.3 GW by 2035. Along with additional wind power, the plan also includes infrastructure installing solar panels on buildings and replacing conventional boilers with solar -powered boilers. Libyan authorities are seeking private investment to achieve this goal, and France's TotalEnergies has launched a 500 MW solar project by 2022 in As-Saddadah.
This is a positive step towards sustainability and energy independence. This ambitious goal reflects the country's dedication to harnessing clean, renewable sources of energy to meet its power needs. It also signals Libya's potential to become a significant player in the global renewable energy sector.
