For launching the longest European bus line running on Colza Biofuel
Flixbus announced the launch of the longest European bus line running on Colza Biofuel. FlixBus, Volvobus, and Morio Voyages are joining forces to offer the Brest <> Grenoble bus line aboard vehicles running on biofuel derived from rapeseed, Oleo100. The biofuel is produced by Saipol, a French leader in processing oilseeds. The two Volvo B9700double-decker buses, operating overnight, will go from Brest to Grenoble in France, without needing to refuel, i.e. more than 1,150km in total autonomy. This will result in a reduction of 70% of CO2 emissions and of 80% of fine particle emissions.
