To reduce carbon emissions, food is one very important area to address

.
More vegetables, shorter transport, less food waste are some important actions. Meat consumption needs to decrease, as it is carbon intensive. However, people will eat meat – and doing so, we need to cut down on the amount we eat and choose good meat. By that I mean meat from grazing cattle, contributing to biodiversity, and making farming a carbon sink. Meat that is certified and traceable.
One company making this kind of meat accessible in Stockholm is ERTH. The name stands for E- environment, R- responsible, T-taste , and H – happiness. They have meat with different climate and environmental certificates from local producers as well as with offsets for transportation.
When you do buy meat, make sure it is good in respect to environment, biodiversity, resilience, and climate. And to get emissions down, meat consumption at large needs to decrease.
Eat less and eat better!

Not sure meat is something everyone on the planet is able to have, afford or feel entitled to..billions of people can't all eat sustainable meat. It's not possible. We cant produce meat sustainably - it will be a food for the elite and rich. But eating less meat and rearing animals in a way that promotes biodiversity, gives animals a better life and does not pollute the environment is better...but we have plenty of ways to eat well without having to eat meat. It's not necessary.

@lucinda_ramsay time to sacrifice a little for the sake of the environment, its sad to live an extravagant life when it hurts the climate.
