On the 15th of #September 2024, Odessa was struck by a severe thunderstorm with intense rainfall, causing extensive flooding of roads, shops, and homes. The city received almost half a month's worth of rain—19 mm—in just one day. Public transportation routes were suspended, leading to widespread disruption.
