Climate idea

Insect are a way to provide animal protein in a sustainable way in the diet.

Cheap and There's health benefits ! Plus, Ikea is competing with you... You're at the back of the classroom... Whaaaat ???!!! How does it feel ? xD This is the American fast food of the future. It will make wealth, solve health problems from the trash food industry as well and in the process, preventing millions of expanses.

More digest, interspecies variability in nutrients, less food income to grow them compare to cows, etc.

Insect nutritional composition showed high diversity between species. According to the Ofcom model, no insects were significantly ‘healthier’ than meat products. The NVS assigned crickets, palm weevil larvae and mealworm a significantly healthier score than beef (P<0.001) and chicken (P<0.001). No insects were statistically less healthy than meat.

I am seeing we are moving in a direction of creating more tolerable and palatable form of food industry that is its own form of greenwashing (just look at the exploitation of bumblebees) but I see that we still don’t understand our habitual want to control ecosystem and their inhabitants for the benefit of the human species, and while more so for a self-selected sector, has the same myopic framework and leads to abuses driven by commercial and corporate interests finding their own narrow niches to exploit. We really need to get aware of our tendencies to be drawn into these pitfalls.

Quite often, the issue with putting insects on the menu without considering the cultural factor, is the legislation which doesn't allow the sale of insects based food for humans

Dried insects actually taste really good just by themselves. I’ve had four or five different kinds and the icky factor didn’t bother me and I really like them.
