A cooperation agreement was recently signed between the Renewable Energy Authority of Libya (REAoL) and a Canadian consortium, Petro Techna International Company and Jacob Capital, focusing on renewable energy projects. The agreement was endorsed by Abdul Salam Al Ansari, Chairman of REAoL, and Ali Malik, President and CEO of the Canadian Petro Techna Company, The meeting was attended by Isabelle Savard, the Canadian Ambassador to Libya. The meeting aimed to clarify REAoL's plans aligned with the National Strategy for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, emphasizing the use of Canadian expertise in renewable energies. Discussions also covered the agency's efforts in linking Libya and southern Europe for renewable energy projects.
