Sadly not too many people understand the meaning of green skills, and at such some young people possess this skill(s) but are they are not so sure they do. In simple terms, green skills are those skills needed to solve environmental crisis and to efficient use societal resources. The above definition of green skills makes us to understand that greens skills can take the form of: 1) Knowledge 2 Abilities 3) Values 4) Attitude. As long as the can contribute to sustainable development. Sustainable development is a concept that seeks to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It involves balancing economic, environmental, and social considerations to ensure a harmonious and equitable development path. Examples of green skills... Before giving examples of green skills, I will like to let you know that every industry/niche has it own green skill related to that industry. Here are some examples of green skills: 1. Renewable Energy Technology: Skills related to solar, wind, and hydroelectric energy systems, including installation, maintenance, and operation. 2. Sustainable Agriculture: Knowledge of eco-friendly farming practices that promote soil health, reduce pesticide use, and minimize environmental impact. 3. Environmental Management: Expertise in managing resources and developing strategies to reduce waste, conserve energy, and lower carbon emissions. 4.
