News Comes as Award-Winning Musician and Environmentalist Launches International Carbon Tour in Sweden, Germany, Canada, United States and Thailand.

STOCKHOLM, 25 October 2023-- The award-winning, jazz and pop musician Sirintip Phasuk was announced today as the third ambassador for the global digital climate solutions and broadcaster We Don’t Have Time.
Sirintip, who is of Thai-Swedish descent, is currently on a European Tour to promote her new album Carbon. The album harnesses soaring melodies, powerful lyrics and even sampled scientific data including from ice sheets to bring home the environmental emergencies to Sirintip’s growing international fan base. Carbon was also recorded in a climate-neutral studio in the United States and the vinyl version is produced from plant-based plastics.
Sirintip, who tonight is performing at Nefertiti in Göteborg, at The Node in Stockholm tomorrow and on Saturday at the Umea Jazz Festival in northern Sweden before heading off to Germany said: ”I am honoured to have been chosen to be a We Don´t Have Time ambassador, which is connecting and inspiring millions of people across the globe to solve the climate emergency and hand over a healthy, functioning planet to future generations”.
“Through my music, I try to explore the unsung intersections between humankind and the natural world and bring my diversity of my musical roots---from jazz and pop to traditional Thai and classical European—to inspire people to want to preserve and conserve the diversity of the living world,” she added.
Ingmar Rentzhog, the CEO and Founder of We Don´t Have Time, said:” Sirintip is a very special and unique artist whom we have had the pleasure of having on our broadcasts from the UN climate conference in Egypt last year and more recently at NYC Climate Week 2023”.
“If we are to truly solve the climate crisis at speed and scale, we need to have our minds but also our hearts in this endeavor. An artist like Sirintip, through her lyrics and melodies, can touch the intellect but also the emotions that trigger a deeper understanding of why we need to act while encouraging all of us to do more,” he added.
