The US is for the sixth year running the world's largest oil producer

For all its rhetoric about climate action, the US government are not making headway in transitioning away from oil.

It's deeply concerning that despite the urgent need for climate action, the US continues to prioritize and expand fossil fuel production. This not only worsens the climate crisis but also undermines global efforts to transition to renewable energy sources for a sustainable future.

I'm disappointed to see that the U.S. is still one of the world's largest oil producers. Their rhetoric about climate action doesn't match their actions, and it's frustrating to see them playing this game with us. On one hand, the U.S. is talking a big game about transitioning to clean energy, but on the other hand, they're continuing to invest in fossil fuels. This sends a confusing message to the rest of the world and makes it harder to take climate change seriously.

@edwin_wangombe It's disheartening to witness the U.S. maintain its status as a major oil producer despite its climate action rhetoric. The inconsistency between words and actions only fuels scepticism and impedes global progress towards a sustainable future. This mixed messaging undermines efforts to combat climate change effectively.

@boniface_kuria On point. The double speak is reprehensible. It's shameful to witness the contradiction between the U.S.'s climate action promises and its continued support for fossil fuel production. This hypocrisy only hampers sincere efforts to address the urgent climate crisis.

This is a bad record for the World biggest economy, the US must strive to change this history by investing in clean energy production.

@joseph_githinji Why are they having double standards they should stop playing with with people by showing them how willing they are to make a change in the world while on the other hand, they are destroying it
