On the 12th of October, 2024, a strong rainstorm struck the Aghjabadi area of Azerbaijan, leading to extensive flooding. More than 300 houses were inundated, the transportation infrastructure suffered damage, and traffic was brought to a halt. In the center of Aghjabadi city, the electricity supply was momentarily disrupted. The emergency services are working tirelessly to minimize the consequences, and residents have been evacuated from areas of danger.

In the face of catastrophic climate changes, it is essential that we come together for the sake of our planet and future generations.
