Afon Lwyd River Turns Rusty in Torfaen- NRW's Rapid Response Quells Pollution Concerns.

The Afon Lwyd river in Torfaen turned orange, shocking locals in the Charlesville area. Natural Resources Wales (NRW) attributed the rust color to water pollution from a former iron works, specifically the Cwmsychan Brook Culvert near Abersychan. Collaborating with The Coal Authority, NRW swiftly identified and addressed the pollution source. By Sunday, the discolouration had subsided, leaving clearer water, though some orange sediment remained on the riverbed. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-wales-67976110.amp

@joseph_githinji It should be dealt away with ASAP to avoid further pollution to where they drain.
