🍀The closing day of COP27 was dedicated to solutions and cities and climate leaders from around the globe showcased their climate initiatives and solutions. ✅What actions can cities take to ensure sustainable growth and secure a path toward an inclusive, resilient future? We, at Intercult believe that climate change solutions can only be successful in ensuring a resilient city if they also engage citizens, educating them about climate change challenges and solutions, and fostering possible changes in lifestyles. 💚Our Horison2020 project S.O.S Climate Waterfront is an interdisciplinary project, a collaboration of 10 partners across Europe, that aims to explore waterfronts in Europe that are facing climate change. The project collects different disciplines to create new strategies for sustainable solutions for infrastructure and urban planning in Europe. The project highlights the importance of the role of cities and their citizens engagement for a resilient future.
