PARTNER UPDATE. The construction industry is responsible for 39 percent of all carbon emissions worldwide. The Australian start-up Planitree, a new partner to We Don’t Have Time, is on a mission to do something about it – by making sustainable building and architectural products and services easily available to a global market. Before founding Planitree, Jeremy Barnett served for 15 years as the Managing Director of Dominion House, a supply chain management consultancy with operations in China, Vietnam, Singapore, and Australia.
Australian Jeremy Barnett has spent 20 years managing international supply chains in manufacturing, design, and construction. His conversion to sustainable building practices began with his firm’s involvement in the iconic One Central Park project in Sydney. It continued with a two-year trade show and export promotion program across East and Southeast Asia on behalf of manufacturers of sustainability and wellness solutions. By setting out to bring together the best solutions for sustainability and wellness, and making it easy to specify and purchase, Planitree aims to accelerate the adoption of green building technologies for our own wellbeing, and the planet’s. ”To get to a net-zero economy we need to build greener, faster”, says Jeremy Barnett.
The Planitree platform is designed to help consumers and building professionals choose the best products worldwide and have them delivered at no cost to the planet through carbon offset – and with a tree planted for every transaction.

Why did Planitree decide to partner with We Don’t Have Time?
”At Planitree we recognize the strength of a good idea like We Don’t Have Time, and we also believe that a coordinated response is needed to combat climate change. We can all be part of the solution, says Jeremy Barnett.”
”It would be great to connect with sustainability leaders around the world”, says Jeremy Barnett.
In the nearest future, @Planitree aims to partner with more innovative green building technologies suppliers and promote them.
”Our goal is to accelerate the adoption of green technologies by making it easy to find and specify them”, says Jeremy Barnett.
