Britain poised to smash summer solar power records.

Great Britain is set to achieve record levels of solar power this summer, with forecasts indicating a nearly 25% increase in output compared to last year. The energy market data firm ICIS predicts that solar generation will exceed 5.86 terawatt hours by the end of August, surpassing the previous summer record. Despite challenging weather conditions, solar panels remain effective even on cloudy days. The Labour government's approval of three significant solar farms in eastern England marks a significant shift in policy, aiming to triple the country's solar capacity by 2030.
This ambitious push towards solar energy reflects a growing commitment to renewable sources in the UK. As the government promotes initiatives like the "rooftop revolution," the integration of solar panels into homes could significantly reduce energy costs while contributing to environmental goals. However, local opposition to large-scale developments poses challenges that will need to be navigated to achieve these targets.

lots of positive climate restoration actions taking place around the world. This is very important if we are to reach the 1.5 target.
