A submersible pump for small scale farmers powered by solar.

Water is life!. With water you can do magics. Making water available has remained the greatest challenge of all times especially when rivers are drying up due to climate change. One of the climate change mitigation measures is provision of water to enable farmers to transition from rainfed agriculture to irrigation.
Sunculture is dedicated to solving this problem through their innovative solar pumps that have changed the livelihoods of many farmers in Africa. I had a chance to attend their exhibition at Waruhiu Agriculture Training Institute in Kiambu county in Kenya.
