Oil and gas firms must convert to renewables

The chef executive director of the International Energy Agency Fatin Birol has urged oil and gas producers to convert their operations to green energy or face steep economic decline. He has warned gas and oil industries they find it more difficult to operate in the future and calls for governments to bring in policies to encourage the switch to renewable energy.
