Thaely creates vegan leather shoes out of plastic and rubber waste. The idea was conceptualised by 21 year old, Ashay Bhave, a visual artist and industrial designer. Thaely literally means (plastic) bags in Hindi. Each pair uses/recycles a total of 15 plastic bags and 22 bottles. All components including the glue are 100% vegan. Each pair is packaged in a reusable shopping tote made from 4 plastic bottles & a box made from recycled paper which is embedded with basil seeds & dyed with waste coffee. I mean...could it get any better? You all know where our next salary is going. Check it out here: https://thaely.com To learn about Circular Businesses, visit: www.mysustainonline.com

The problem with adding value to waste is it may lead to the perpetuation of the initial problem.
