Extreme weather is becoming more common due to climate change, and can cause extreme climate events such as heat waves, floods, tornadoes, wildfires, and droughts.
These events can have physical and mental consequences, such as loss of lives and water scarcity, as well as mental or psychosomatic disorders such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
These issues can persist for several years after the disaster and even be passed on to future generations, so should be taken seriously!
