Climate love

Skip Valentine’s Day or show some love to the environment

As simple as that. On this 14th of February, cook at home, ditch the gifts, pick potted plants, and dim the lights. Skip Valentine´s Day or at least avoid collaborating with the tons of extra waste at landfill sites like the heart-shaped boxes of chocolates, plastic presents, balloons, and roses.

As an alternative to traditional mixed materials and challenging to recycle gifts, Business Waste, a company from the UK, recommends baking your own chocolate, reusing containers to elaborate candles, finding second-hand gifts, and giving seeds instead of the red roses that, rather sooner than later, will end up in the trash.
