Scatec Marks Decade of Driving the Transition to Renewable Energy.
Scatec ASA, a leading renewable energy provider, celebrates 10 years since listing on the Oslo Stock Exchange, having developed over 5 GW of renewable projects, avoided 21 million tons of carbon emissions, powered 11 million households annually, and created 20,000 direct jobs. CEO Terje Pilskog highlighted the economic and environmental benefits of renewables, emphasizing the importance of public-private collaboration to meet the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) goal of tripling renewable capacity by 2030. Scatec focuses on high-demand markets and recently completed 1.2 GW of solar and battery projects, with 565 MW under construction.
