Recycling used nappies (diapers) to make a tarmac additive for surfacing roads.

This is a heroic new approach to keeping babies' nappies and especially their contents, which putrefy and generate methane, out of landfill. As a mum, I find the process rather grim to write about(!), but please read the summary in the news report below: https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/welsh-road-been-re-surfaced-23186565?utm_source=linkCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar

Great idea! In Kenya diapers are among things you come across in wastage areas.

Diapers are commonly used and dumped but they hardly decompose.i have carried out a clean up exercise in the steep decents of Thompson falls Nyahururu twice and during the first time I and a few aides picked up too much old but undecomposed diapers and oftenly I come across many in other areas too.Having them useful in this manner is indeed an amazing innovation.
