We, at "Play for Earth" have brainstormed a motivational tool to incentivize and reward individuals who engage in environmentally friendly actions, regardless of their geographical location.
We believe that a significant number of people worldwide would be motivated to undertake pro-climate actions, such as switching from single-use plastic bottles to reusable ones, if they were provided with awareness, objectives, and rewards through an app, for example.
To realize this vision, we developed a gamification app that rewards eco-friendly actions with points. This approach could be implemented in every country, regardless of its level of development. The concept is straightforward:
1. ACT: Adopt eco-friendly habits in your daily routine. Utilize sustainable transportation, avoid single-use plastics, plant native species, and purchase eco-sustainable products.
2. EARN: Collect points for every pro-environmental activity you report
3. PLAY THE RANDOM DRAW GAME: Each point acts as a lottery ticket. The more points you have, the better your chances of winning a prize.
This app also allows to
- Track your actions and those of your friends to see how they are performing. Will you be the best?
- Participate in local awareness events or even become an ambassador and start local initiatives!
