Plastic Papers were banned in Kenya in the year 2017,Five years later they are rampantly used in most parts of Kenya .The problem is that we have good policies but zero implementations! The National Environmental management Authority (NEMA) should ensure that the policy on plastic Papers ban is implemented by arresting those who are selling/using them . Check out more on how the use of single use plastics are rampantly creeping back in Kenya👇 https://www.citizen.digital/news/return-of-plastics-single-use-plastic-bags-back-in-use-five-years-after-ban-n292915

It's well known that these plastics are sneaked into Kenya mainly from Uganda since they're still in production there. A better appeal would be to institute this ban as an East African block or even more better as a continent. They're no better whatsoever anyway.

Greediness is all to be blamed, those working in high end seats mind about their individual welfare and interests leaving our motherland in a devastating situation. This needs an urgent action to cease.

The policies should be enacted but not left as paper work. Its a saddening state of affairs.
