COP29 November 13 — Exponential Race to the Top – Actions, Finance, Policies
Following a scene-setting presentation about the economic damage of climate change, this event brings together experts and practitioners in corporate sustainability. Exponential Roadmap Initiative presents work that sketches what the operating space for business may look like in a net zero world and presents insights from stakeholder research on transition planning. Corporate practitioners highlight successes and and challenges with their transition planning and panelists discuss how to reconcile profitability with sustainability.
This session seeks to showcase progress in corporate transition planning. It also aims to broaden the horizon and approach transition plans as a tool for exponential transformation rather than a regulatory requirement. It aims to provide examples and spark wider discussions around addressing profitability concerns in the transition.
