Climate change is now a major problem.
I have lived in many countries and now I am in Islamabad, Pakistan.
When I moved here around 5 years ago it wasn't very bad, but recently after covid it is very bad.
When I am on the road I see random fires, it barely rains anymore, I can see power plants releasing smoke into the air while driving and there is a lot of dust and smoke. According to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority's in Pakistan 61% of all electricity is produced from fossil fuels. In England the 51% of electricity is generated from fossil fuels. Islamabad has an AQI of 79 which means the air has reached a high level of pollution and can be bad for sensitive people.
I think we should come together to stop producing so much pollution. We need to Save electricity, care for our environment and plant trees, and use less electricity
