Belgium introduces new tax for private jets & short-haul flights
The current tax system for flights in Belgium focus primarily on noice pollution. But the new tax (active April 1, 2023) will include levels of air pollution, destination and greenhouse gas emissions.
Increased costs for flights shorter than 500km & new tax for private jets. This is a step in the right direction from Belgium gov!
