The Dutch company Corbion makes sustainable ingredients for food and biochemicals that are used in all kinds of sectors. All products are made with renewable raw materials.

Previously, the company was called CSM (Centrale Suiker Maatschappij), originating from the beet sugar industry. It produced and sold sugar and bakery products. Corbion now makes products with much broader applications, but sugar is still the most important raw material.

Think, for example, of ingredients for fish feed and products that can extend the shelf life of food. Another example is products with which degradable adhesive wire and screws can be made for operations.

Working with renewable raw materials contributes to a circular economy and reducing CO2 emissions.
