Adani Secures â‚ą8,700 Crore Investment for India's Largest Solar-Wind Hybrid Project

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL), India's largest renewable energy company, has refinanced USD 1.06 billion (approximately Rs 8,700 crore) to develop the country's largest solar-wind hybrid renewable energy cluster in Rajasthan. This strategic financial move replaces the initial construction facility borrowed in 2021 and aligns the debt structure with the lifespan of the underlying assets, enhancing the company's financial stability.
AGEL has been actively expanding its hybrid renewable energy portfolio in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district. In March 2023, the company commissioned a 700 MW hybrid wind-solar facility, operating under a 25-year power purchase agreement at INR 3.24 ($0.039) per kWh. This project increased AGEL's operating hybrid wind-solar capacity to 2,140 MW, making it the largest in the world.
These developments underscore AGEL's commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure in India, contributing significantly to the nation's sustainable energy goals.

Adani is not a renewable energy company and nor are they trustworthy. They have committed environmental crimes again & again! Do not trust them.
