🌧️ During the early morning of Friday, October 4, 2024, heavy rains caused widespread disorder in the central and southern regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, resulting in destructive floods and landslides. A minimum of 16 lives were tragically lost, with the majority of the casualties occurring in the city of Jablanica, now cut off due to the destruction of roads and railways. The towns of Kiseljak and Kreševo also experienced significant flooding, with residences and roads submerged.
In light of these catastrophic climate changes, it is imperative for humanity to come together. We need to combine our scientific resources and establish a Global Scientific Center for Climate Action. The establishment of a Worldwide Catastrophe Alert and Rescue System is crucial.
