Huawei unveils smart clean energy fusion solar residential in East Africa

Huawei unveiled its new Smart PV Solution and Residential LUNA 2.0 in the Eastern Africa market. LUNA 2.0, which offers stable and reliable power, is an upgrade of LUNA 1.0 that has been installed in residential homes and small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMME) offices in the region. “Over its 25 years of operation in East Africa, Huawei has a deep understanding of the region’s energy and technology requirements,” said Oliver, CEO, Huawei Digital Power Eastern Africa Region. “We have launched Smart PV and ESS solutions for all scenarios in the African residential market, in our commitment to bring clean energy to every person, home, and organization,” he added. Huawei has also released its residential partner policy. “LUNA 2.0 is like a work of art in your home,” stated Nick Lusson, the Vice President, Huawei Digital Power Sub-Saharan Africa Region. Nick highlighted that the LUNA 2.0 is more advanced and better with high intelligence, active safety, and reliability. “The solution can be grouped into three categories depending on the energy needs of the customer, namely: 5 kW with 5 kWh battery capacity, 5 kW with 10 kWh capacity, and 5 kW with 15 kWh,” he added. “The system can be expanded from 5kWh to 30kWh to meet specific requirements of each customer.” https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/business/2024/01/huawei-unveils-smart-pv-solution-fusionsolar-residential-luna-in-east-africa/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=huawei-unveils-smart-pv-solution-fusionsolar-residential-luna-in-east-africa
