GREAT CALL TO MAKE SURE THAT EVEN THE SMALLEST ANIMAL SPECIES ARE PROTECTED SO THAT THEY DON'T GO EXTINCT.

A blind mole that swims through sand has been rediscovered after nearly 100 years.

A blind mole that was believed to have gone extinct has been noted swimming across the sand in south Africa,87 years after it had been believed that it had gone extinct, through the help of DNA and sniffer dogs, conservists and experts from university of Pretoria and other groups for two years.Experts embarked on a tough and challenging task of taking DNA samples and other reliable informations that really helped them to trace this species among the sand dunes.

Since the blind mole has resurface, it should be protected at all cost.I wonder what other animal 'presumed' extinct will show up when we least expect.

@jane_wangui I think they try to look for more habitable environment, this tells us that we should create a conducive environment for them to thrive in.
