I first learnt of We Don't Have Time last year just before COP26 and from there on, our relationship has grown due to our mutual love of our environment. I'm writing this today to appreciate the work the team led by Patrick Kiarie is doing in Kenya. Within the period I've known them, we have worked together is many projects. The organization not only informs people about climate change and it's effects, it actually goes a step ahead to mitigate these effects by planting trees, curbing plastic pollution by participating in clean ups and installing dustbins and as well as mentoring young people to ensure the planet has future climate warriors. When you contextualize the fact that this organization does not have a lot of staff or resources, you'll be impressed by the work they've done in Kenya and Africa as a whole. Their impact can be felt across the African continent as previously displayed by the Tanzanian ministry of mining inviting them over to grow their partnership. I'm glad to have been art of this team and expanding everyone's knowledge in regards to climate. As a student in Mount Kenya University, I can attest to the reach of this magnificent organization. Currently, all students in the school are aware of climate change due to the influence of We Dont Have Time in Kenya and the Environmental Club of Mount Kenya University. I'd like to have more of such organizations in the country and in the world as we succeed in bringing pollution to net zero, curbing plastic use and as we transit to clean energy. WDHT Kenya is a pace setter for climate based organizations. It's success can be attributed to their management, staff and collaborations. I'm hereby asking you all to join me in showing them love for the amazing work that they do. #WeDontHaveTime @WeDontHaveTime #Godspeed
