Six of nine planetary boundaries are already breached and it is becoming ever clearer that a planet heating up by more than 1.5°C over the course of the century would not be able to sustain human life and economic activity as we know it. But if we imagine a world that stays within the planetary boundaries - what is then the operating space for business? Under what conditions can and must companies deliver products and services that serve human needs? And: How can transition plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) empower companies to plan the necessary transformation? How can companies address concerns about profitability in the short and medium term?
