Solarus Renewables - world leading developer of solar collectors for hot water, water treatment, hydrogen production and electricity - with strong growth.
Today, Solarus sells a highly efficient hybrid solar collector for hot water and electricity that is suitable for buildings with high hot water consumption such as hotels, bathhouses, hospitals, residential buildings with many apartments or student corridors, car washes and for district heating.
Our upcoming retrofit solar collector is attached to the back of regular solar panels, thereby increasing electricity production by 10-20% via cooling of the panel also recovering the heat energy. In this way, the efficiency is expected to increase to 250-300% of what ordinary solar panels provide. The recovered heat would otherwise be vented into the atmosphere, which is not good for the climate. The main idea is to store heat during the summer months in geothermal and geothermal systems and reuse the energy in winter when energy is most expensive and needed most. This means that profitability increases even more than efficiency. Thermal storage can take place over a long period of time and is more cost-effective than battery storage.
