Reusable nappies can reduce the environmental footprint of parenting

Around the world, another 45 babies are born every ten seconds. Each of these babies will require nappies that need to be changed frequently. Which means an increase the amount of single use nappies which end up being dumped in the environment  or sent to landfill. It's sad that more than 300,000 disposable nappies are incinerated, sent to landfill or end up in the environment every minute which is distractive to the ecosystem. It's high time we invest in eco-friendly Biodegradable nappies. https://phys.org/news/2023-05-reusable-nappies-environmental-footprint-parentingbut.html

Its a nice idea.Once its implemented the issue of diapers roaming around recklessly will highly reduce and this means less pollution is caused.

Researchers and innovators should come up with bio-degradable diapers.

I think this existed in the past but people were reluctant to wash them and I understand why. Hence the invention of singe use diapers

This idea should be much welcomed,it will help in reducing waste in our environment having in mind they are largely used worldwide

I am in full support of this. One time nappies account for a significance percentage of waste across the world. Reusable nappies will be a game changer

@zelda_ninga_442 very true you can imagine 45 babies are born in every 10 seconds..you can evaluate the number of diapers used daily 🤔🤔

I second this... If there is a better alternative for non degradable diapers then we should go in that direction... If we can completely integrate the 3Rs principles of reduce, reuse and recycle the world will be a better place
