In kenya the year 2020 enrolled number of students in primary and secondary schools were 13.5 million. In the education sector paper is the main waste.Exercise books, text books and printed papers can be recycled. The average waste per pupil produces is 50kg per academic year.The total waste of paper and books of this 13.5m pupils is a big threat to our environment. If the ministry of environment and forestry can take the initiative to be collecting all waste papers, exercise books and old text books and have a recycling project and making other new books for the pupils we can gain a big mileage in conserving our environment and forests.And also cutting down cost of new books that the government offers to pupils. By recycling 1 tonne of papers we save 20 trees from being cut down. We reduce waste landfills, we reduce carbon emissions from heat in factories processing wood to papers. The recycling project of waste it can be a value to saving our forests by preserving the trees. Our love to wildlife can be conserved, walk at the woods or in forest, fresh oxygen can be retained. This action should be acted quickly and it can inspire future generations to go more green and positive impact to our environment.
