If the world carries on like it is there will not be any future historians

Absolutely outrageous! Shell raking in record profits while weakening its climate goals is a slap in the face to the planet.

Shell promises are always in-vain.
•

This is infuriating and very sad. Shell should not renege on its climate promises in favour of fossil fuels.
•
•

Surprising no? Disappointing, yes. Will they ever look further than the tip of their nose?

Shell and other large fossil based corporations are clearly only interested in one thing, profits. The profitability of their business models is clearly more important to them than the future of the planet and they will derail any sustainability agenda pushed on them by the public. We need to find a solution to a few organisations putting the planet's health at a bigger risk than it already is.

@munene_mugambi it is time for them to redirect their investments to renewable energy and prioritize people over profit

Shell cannot afford to derail the imminent climate catastrophe by setting unrealistic targets. Multinational fossil fuel companies need to cooperate for the world to win the war against climate change.

@rukia_ahmed_abdi It is time we realised these organisations are only interested in profits and not in the people at all. That is why they keep on making such absurd decisions that harm the planet and us all

@rukia_ahmed_abdi it is time for these global oil giants to start realizing that if the world ends, their business will also end
•

When shareholder value is prioritised, then this is the only outcome.

@kumar_iyer It is clearly an issue of what the owners want which is more money in their pockets over the needs of the many and the planet. They come together to end our planet just to have a few more bucks in their pockets

@munene_mugambi it's saddening to see such corporations prioritizing profits over the people...
•
•
34 w
@kumar_iyer They forget that once humanity goes extinct, they will have no customers to buy their products... it is important to have a balance between the people and profits, which means it is keeping and achieving their climate goals

Despicable board/owners

@thomas_tienso it is despicable, to say the least ... Shell can do better
