On June 16, 2024: Belgrade was struck by an enormous rainstorm leading to significant flooding! The streets were transformed into waterways, parking lots and basements were submerged, and vehicles were damaged. Despite the city's efforts, water levels continue to be high. 🌊🚗
The climate crisis is a reality and is having a direct impact on our lives. It is time to bring together our scientific expertise and establish a Global Catastrophe Alert and Rescue Service! Let's join forces to protect our planet and ensure the survival of humanity. 🌍🆘
