123 more agrees trigger scaled up advertising
And together we've planted over 150,000 trees. One tree is planted for every climate review written to an organization that is Open for Climate Dialogue™.
How does this work?

This is alarming. Forcing increased oil and gas imports undermines global climate goals and prioritizes short-term trade interests over the urgent need for sustainable energy transitions.

DJT coming out to strongly coerce the EU to purchase US oil and gas is completely inn bad taste. The world is shifting away from these fossil fuels and we cannot have threats being used against those who are progressive towards cleaner fuels
•
•
12 w
@Kevin Using coercion to push fossil fuel sales contradicts the global shift to cleaner energy, undermining progress and collaboration in addressing climate change. This approach sets a concerning precedent.
•
12 w
The issue underscores the complexity of balancing energy security, trade relations, and climate action.
•
•

@kelvin_thuranira_kaberia Exactly. Striking the right balance between energy security, international trade, and the urgent need for climate action is a critical challenge that requires thoughtful, cooperative solutions, not coercive tactics.

•

@kelvin_thuranira_kaberia Exactly... while people are fighting to curb fossil fuels Trump is here making things worse
•
•

Trump was the worst idea. I do hope that one day he changes and help us transit towards green energy.
•
•
12 w
@jane_wangui Change is always possible, and it would be impactful if influential figures like Trump embraced and supported the transition to green energy for a sustainable future.
•
•
11 w
@jane_wangui i know... i wish Americans had made a better decision... instead of helping salvage the situation he is making the problem worse shame on him
•
•
11 w
@munene_mugambi The thing is he doesn't listen to the voice of reason he is ignorant and self-centered
•
•

When will people ever learn.donald should make sure.that he set his priorities right before we loose our future.
•

@rosebellendiritu Absolutely, this is sad. It's unfortunate that Trump is thinking only of wealth and profits, and not of what is at stake for the environment and for future generations.

Trump is a disaster but I hope E.U is strong enough to weather this storm.
•
•
11 w
@tabitha_kimani I agree... he is a real disaster

Fossil fuel ultimatums are a climate death sentence. I wish and i could urge the EU to reject Trump’s demands and invest in clean energy. Our planet can’t afford more carbon bombs.

The demand also risks escalating a trade conflict with the EU, which has been reducing reliance on Russian energy.
