Safaricom has been awarded for its climate action initiatives in the Inaugural environmental sustainability awards by UNEP in collaboration with the Kenya private sector Alliance (KEPSA). Safaricom was recognized for its innovative approach in integrating and implementing climate change intervention in its business plans.
