      Is it a cement kiln or a secondary unit? It seems from the above post that author is encouraging secondary process which is actually production of cement by using fly ash or slag. In this case slag grinders are used but cement kilns are not required because calcination is not done. The GHG emission is very less in cement production by using fly ash or slag. Minimization of losses of raw materials are also.ensured in such secondary cement unit by covered handling and transport. The GHG production per tonne of cement production in such a unit is usually very low in comparison to the same from a kiln based units.
