Climate Action Network (CAN) Rwanda COP27 Expectations The 27th United nations climate change conference of parties will be in Sharm- El –Sheikh Egypt from November 6 to 18 2022. COP 27, is expected to focus on the urgent action needed to address the growing impact of climate change particularly on front line countries in Africa and vulnerable countries around the world that has contributed the least to the global climate crisis but one bearing overwhelming burden of climate impact. It is imperative that COP27 respond to adaptation need of most vulnerable and poorest countries and this guarantees their access to resilient development. The solution, make adaptation a pillar of the fight against climate change and financially support development countries, especially the least developed ones.
