VOWED TO CONTINUE CONVERSATIONS WITH UGANDAN PRESIDENT MUSEVENI TO CONVINCE HIM TO STOP OIL DRILLING

Kenyan president Dr. William Ruto raised concerns towards Uganda new oil drillings and explorations. He attributed the drillings to lack of proper or high level discussions resulting to mis-information. He spoke about this when he presided over Mo Ibrahim foundation African leadership ceremony 29th April, 2023.
With the awareness that East African Crude Oil Pipeline {EACOP} starts in Uganda, Dr Ruto's influence will be of great important towards saving the environment. He said that his country Kenya will not consider oil drilling despite it being an attractive investment which has contributed great wealth in developed countries.
