Royal Bank is funding drilling pipelines through Wet’suet’en territory and causing cultural genocide using RCMP forces.

Big banks in Canada, the largest being the Royal bank of Canada, are financially supporting the drilling at sensitive ecological and ancestral sites in forcing through a pipeline that will carry bitumen from the Alberta tar sands.
Bitumen is one of the dirtiest liquid gases and the plan is to move this gas through pipelines travelling through the territories of many Indigenous Nations.
In supplanting the original Indigenous governance with the colonial system designed to disregard and recognize the rightful leadership by fracturing and dividing the Wet’suet’en Peoples against each other by promising short term financial support to relieve poverty at the coals of jeprodisring true security.
The drill is set to bore under the beautiful Wetzin Kwa River.
THE WET’SUET’EN NATION DESPERATELY NEED OUR SUPPORT TO GET MUCH NEED GLOBAL ATTENTION ONTO WHAT IS TRULY A DEAD END PROJECT AND BUILD A REAL PLAN FORWARD THAT DOESN’T TRADE LONG TERM ENVIRONMENTAL SECURITY FOR SHORT TERM FINANCIAL GAINS.

Please continue to pay attention to what is happening in Canada. We don’t need more fossil fuel pipelines, and neither do you. At the moment our government has bought one pipeline and is still using the law against the rights of sovereign Indigenous nations and arresting those trying to protect the land. If you have ever been to the BCs coast you will know the beauty and richness of life that is under threat by these pipelines and the liquid bitumen and fracked natural gas extraction and transport that is predicted to increase nearly 7 fold. There will be multiple tankers loaded and leaving the BC coast daily. This is even before refining and burning them adds to the global threats to all of life and the collective air, water, land and food.chains humans are accountable for. In our current state of willful mindlessness, humans are racing off a cliff of our own design while embracing the narratives and addictions that lull us into super comas. Please let’s wake everyone up and keep lighting up the new path that brings humans back into relationship with the reality and deeper truths of a living planet. Let’s save this precious blue and green planet. We have a responsibility so let’s act in good faith for the precious gift of life and take care of what is the core of what sustains us in mind, body, and spirit.

Please look at what is happening in BC and vote this concern up so UNDRIP isn’t being respected and sensitive ecosystem are being harmed along with their lands protectors. Please raise attention to how banks are making the climate crisis worse for the entire planet and how it is impacting some much more disproportionately.
