An up to $5 billion investment in Bolivia's rainforest 🌳💰💚
An up to $5 billion investment in Bolivia's rainforest was today announced by Celinda Sosa Lunda, Bolivia’s Minister of Foreign Affair, and approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Private sector investors needing to reduce emissions are expected to invest. In an interview with We Don't Have Time, the minister explained: ”This is not a carbon market investment”, but a new kind of financial instrument.

A great investment towards creating a sustainable future. It is impressive to see a $5 dollar project that does not rely on carbon markets injected in the Bolivia rainforest project.
