New solar-powered robots will clean up Argentina.
Argentina is planning to send solar-powered robots out to clean its dirty harbors. If it works, the self-propelled robots may make a big dent in the country’s plastic pollution problem. These robots will be able to clean surface waste down upto 16 inches deep. They will be deployed in ports rivers and lagoons. I'm very much impressed by this level of technology but eradicating plastics for good would have a far reaching positive effect. Otherwise a huge support and especially monetary support for innovations around alternatives to plastics should be highly scouted for.
