It’s not only for countries like India, Pakistan, Indonesia or anyone’s from the African continent but for all new build buildings could profit from such a concept, but there should be a Research & Development precede any fabrication of such a roof coverings, proving exactly that it would work and provide also the necessary insulation to any roof. I have hope and I expect that a big building company would react to endorse this idea as a worldwide solution for all new building constructions.

Africa is not only a continent on itself but also a place where millions of people are living mostly in poverty or in difficult circumstances because of the unequal distribution of wealth and many very old conflict situations which did never solved because of political and environmental factors, if one day a the whole Africa covering institution could take shape to provide help and environmental security for all Africa without borders, not providing each home or habitat with an own Chinese solar panel but by providing everywhere the needed resources to support the people in their lives, by using not only its physical resources like providing shelter from sunlight, looking for drinking waters and giving education directed to the African culture and languages and not only turned towards European or American standards, helping all young people to opt for jobs in these countries by leaving their own countries aside, but also primarily being able to distribute the wealth of some African countries which have higher living standards over their neighbours to get to a higher African wealth niveau for all, by providing food, water, education, political stability and economic prosperity in whole Africa, making from this most beautiful and the most frequently abused continent of the world, again a Powerhouse which could easily fight against the oncoming atmospheric and climate catastrophes, all together as real brothers and sisters born on the same soil and under the same destiny, to become a most important example for all the other world nations which will also face similar challenges to cope with. Having the most difficult land/soil and climate conditions of our planet, would never have to say that these are impossible to solve if we consider how strong and how bounded the African people are to their own country, it must be now the priority of such an overshadowing organisation to use these positive capabilities of all the African people to connect them all together to serve only one purpose, to make it able to this continent to continue being a living place for millions of men, women and children also in these countries coming decades and not a desolate piece of ground where even no single ant could be seen leave alone the people themselves. God blessed Africa and African people forever and ever and He will bless all of them again and again but they should also take action and make the right choices themselves. Amen 🙏

This is a splendid idea , which if implemented will aid in energy saving and still the roofs will serve their purpose to shelter people. I hope this will be embraced and adopted.

Many thanks for allowing my idea to become a starting point, I hope for many other designs to follow my humble hand drawing, it is of course very important that these roof coverings (any size but still manageable by one workman) would be fixed securely on the carrying roof structure, through e.g. specific holes in the inductive layer and the water harvesting layer, which would be naturally also fixed on that carrying structure by the same way, without needing any extra gluing, making it easy to disassemble one day. On my piece of paper I could no indicate anything about energy conservation, by providing two extra compartments on both sides of the water reservoir, filled both with such a fluid Fase Change Polymer which may accumulate enough energy to be used, which energy would always be replenished each time wind blows again, in the case of long dark winter nights, there will be always plenty of wind and if long no-wind days (difficult to imagine) the accumulated energy through all these panels would be enough to maintain all electric appliances going for more than many long hours.

The idea of using roof coverings that generate energy while providing insulation and rainwater collection is innovative. This approach could enhance building sustainability, reduce energy costs, and support water conservation, making it a valuable solution for both new and existing structures.
